Historical NoteLynda Bird Johnson Robb would later get involved with the nonprofit organization Reading is Fundamental and the President’s Advisory Committee for Women under Jimmy Carter. At the 1964 Democratic National Convention, President Johnson chose Hubert Humphrey as his vice president.
