Behind the gates (“Bar nothing political rancho”), a man (“Adlai”) watches. Two men (“Symington”, “Kennedy”) sit on the fence and watch. Humphrey rides a horse and watches. Historical NoteIn 1960, Johnson ran for the Democratic nomination for president. When the Democratic front-runner and fellow senator John F. Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1973.
