Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. FDR has his arm around LBJ, who holds a trophy ("61% of popular vote"). Caption: “That's My Boy!”. Additional text at lower right: “-November 6, 1964”. Artist signature lower right: "Zschiesche Greensboro Daily News”.
Historical NoteDuring the 1964 election cycle, Lyndon B. Johnson ran as the Democratic candidate against Republican Barry Goldwater. He won in a landslinde, winning 61% of the popular vote.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon B Johnson Presidential Library in 1973.
