Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. LBJ pats the back of an elderly runner ("Congress"). In front of them is a tall hurdle ("10 'Must' Bills". On the other side of the hurdle, "Adjournment" is written on the ground. Caption reads: "Clear That and You're Home!". Artist signature lower left: "Gib Crockett © The Washington Star". Additional text at upper left: "Release Upon Receipt The Washington Star Syndicate, 444 Madison Ave., New York 22, N.Y. The Crockett Cartoon".

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson personally, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1970.
