Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. LBJ ties a rope ("Extended Foreign Aid") around the neck of a man ("Congress") who glances up and taps his foot. Caption reads: "Just My Li'l Old 5 Year Plan". Artist signature lower left: "Warren King".
Inscriptions and MarkingsHandwritten across bottom: "To President Lyndon B. Johnson - May the country be the better for your administration - Sincerely Warren King The News Feb 2-66".
Historical NoteThe 1966 Food for Freedom Program was a foreign aid program to send food to countries dealing with hunger and promote food production in those countries.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson personally, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1970.
