Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. LBJ hands a Santa suit and a long paper ("Want List") to a surprised man (“Congress”). Caption: “Here, Put on this Red Suit”. Artist signature lower center: "Bill McClanahan Dallas News”.
Inscriptions and MarkingsHandwritten at lower center: “To Mr. President Best Wishes Bill”.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1973.
