Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. LBJ is carrying a kitchen sink on his shoulder and papers in his coat pocket ("Messages to Congress") as he walks up the steps of the Capitol. Caption reads: "That Too?". Artist signature lower left: "Morris."
Inscriptions and MarkingsHandwritten at lower left: "To President Johnson With sincere Best Wishes John Milt Morris" "2/10/66".
Historical NoteIn January 1966, Lyndon Johnson delivered a State of the Union Address that covered the Vietnam War, the Great Society, the war on poverty, foreign aid, relation with the Soviet Union and Eastern bloc, urban development, environmental programs, the war on crime, and civil rights.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson personally, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1970.
