Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. LBJ tries to move a stubborn horse ("Congress") that leans against a fence with its front legs folded. Artist signature lower right: "Bill Roberts”.
Historical NoteLyndon Johnson worked with Congress to get his legislation passed, which became more difficult as the Democrats lost their supermajority.
