Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. A dog ("Her") motions to her ears while talking to a mournful looking elephant with its ears tied together under its chin. LBJ looks down smiling. Another dog ("Him") lies beside Her. Caption: “Really--You Hardly Feel It at All”. Artist signature lower left: "Bob Taylor”.
Historical NotePresident Johnson was known to lift his beagles by their ears.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1973.
