Physical DescriptionOriginal four-frame cartoon drawing. Frame 1: LBJ wears a hat down and collar up, hiding his identity. He hides behind a tree. Frame 2: LBJ sneaks up to a church sign. Frame 3: He reads the sign while up close. Frame 4: He removes the hat and calls to CTJ while standing by the sign ("Today's Sermon: 'Ol' Time Religion'"). A small piece of paper “© 1967, Chicago’s American” adhered to lower left. Caption: “O.K. Lady Bird--Let's Go Here!”. Artist signature lower left: "Stayskal”.
Historical NoteThe Antiwar Movement (1964-1973) emerged in response to the Vietnam War and included many activist groups such as the Students for a Democratic Society and the Yippies and used tactics such as mass demonstrations, sit-ins, teach-ins, and guerilla theater.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1973.
