Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. LBJ is the 1967 New Year baby wearing a top hat ("The Great Society") and is up to the shoulders in a snow drift ("Congress"). He tries to hitchhike a ride by raising his thumb, saying, "Going my way, anybody?". In the lower right, a small figure carries a sign (“Just drifting along”) covered in snow. Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1973.
