Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. LBJ reads a paper ("Guam Report") and tosses aside several pages ("Military Operations", "S. Vietnam Constitution", "Pacification", "Weather-fair", "Ambassadorial", "Change"). The papers obscure a man (identifiable as Bobby Kennedy) who holds a paper ("Stop the Bombing!"). Caption: “Now, Let's See--Have I Covered Everything?”. Artist signature lower left: "Fischetti”. A small piece of paper “Publishers Newspaper Syndicate, 1967” adhered to lower left. A small piece of paper "Fischetti" adhered to upper left.

Historical NoteIn March 1967, Lyndon Johnson met with South Vietnamese leaders to discuss the end of the war. At this point, South Vietnam had finished drafting a new constitution and would soon prepare for a national election.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1973.
