Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. A kangaroo (“LBJ”) has a joey (“Vietnam”) in its pouch as it hops ("Trip to Holt Rites") over the land ("Down Under"). A small cat with a newspaper looks over the horizon and says “Gorton possible successor has Bangor tie-in”. Caption: “With a Pocket Issue”. Artist signature lower right: "Vic Runtz news ‘67”.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1973.
