Physical DescriptionPhysical DescriptionWhite gold tie clasp oval faceted 9 x 10 1/2mm oval amethyst in four-prong mounting. The bar is alternately decorated with openwork and stippling, and has a simple spring clasp and a safety chain. Given with matching cuff links (1966.55.6 A ).

Custodial History NoteThis item was a gift from a foreign official to President Lyndon B. Johnson during his term in office. It was received through the Executive Office of the President and maintained there until its transfer to the National Archives on January 1969 for deposit with the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum.
