Physical DescriptionBlack alligator and cowhide western-style boots. A tooled Presidential Seal is appliqued on the front of each in red, white, blue, gold. "LBJ" stenciled in white on outside straps. Embroidered white design surrounding the seal on uppers. Label inside: "Tony Lama El Paso, Texas."
Historical NoteThese black alligator and cowhide boots, made by Tony Lama, have the Presidential seal stenciled on the front and "LBJ" stenciled on the outside straps.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson personally, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1970.
