Historical NoteLyndon Johnson attended games at the University of Texas at Austin, especially after leaving the White House. KOCO is a radio station in Oklahoma, and this cartoon alludes to the football rivalry between UT and the University of Oklahoma.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon B Johnson Presidential Library in 1973.
