John Fischetti
1916 - 1980
Fischetti was an editorial cartoonist for the New York Herald Tribune and Chicago Daily News and Chicago Sun-Times. After service in the Army during World War II, 1942-45, he joined the staff of Stars and Stripes as an artist. Over the years, his work also appeared in Esquire, the Saturday Evening Post and Collier’s. In 1969, he won the Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartooning.
