Karl Marx

He was a German-born philosopher, writer, economist and revolutionary socialist. He authored the Communist Manifesto, a pamphlet critical of capitalism that cast a huge influence over intellectual, economic and political history. As a result, Marxism became a body of economic and political thinking.
