John SparkmanUnited States, 1899 - 1985

Sparkman was a jurist and politician from the state of Alabama. From 1937 to 1946, Sparkman served in the United States House of Representatives and the United States Senate from 1946 until 1979. In the 1952 presidential election, he was the Democratic Party’s nominee for vice president.
