John Sherman Cooper
United States, 1901 - 1991
Cooper was an American politician, jurist and diplomat. He served in the U.S. Senate, representing Kentucky as a Republican. He had two U.S. ambassadorships, worked in the State Department and was appointed by President Johnson to serve on the Warren Commission investigating the assassination of President Kennedy. He was also a member of the Kentucky House of Representatives.
