William (Bill) Mauldin1921 - 2003

He was an editorial cartoonist and was most famous for his cartoons of World War II. He won two Pulitzer Prizes, one in 1958 and the other following the Kennedy assassination. His wartime cartoons were popular with soldiers throughout Europe and civilians in the U.S.
