Otto Arosemena Gómez

Ecuadorian, 1925 - 1984
Otto Arosemena Gómez Gomez, founder of the Coalición Institucionalista Demócrata (CID) political party in 1966, served as the Provisional President of Ecuador from November 1966 to September 1968. Formerly, he served as Vice President of the Senate (1961), President of the Monetary Board (1961), Senator (1960), Presidents of the Chamber of Deputies (1957), President of the Guayas Provincial Electoral Tribunal (1952) and Deputy for Guayas Province (1954-1956).
