Philadelphia Evening & Sunday Bulletin

1847 - 1982
The Philadelphia Bulletin was a daily evening paper published from 1847 to 1982. It was once the largest evening newspaper in the U.S. The Bulletin later bought out the Philadelphia Record and incorporated features of the Sunday edition into the new Sunday Bulletin. Through competition with the Philadelphia Inquirer and various changes of ownership, the Bulletin finally ceased publication on- and offline by 2011.
