Physical DescriptionOriginal cartoon drawing. In a Santa suit, a man (“Sargent Shriver”) admonishes a group of men ("Local Control of Community Programs") leaving the office (“OEO”) in Santa suits, carrying bells and chimneys. A picture of Santa LBJ is on the wall. Caption: “One Thing More, Men! I Expect You to Shake When You Laugh, Like a Bag Full of Money!”. Artist signature lower center: "L. D. Warren”.
Inscriptions and MarkingsHandwritten at lower center: “33 ½ picas” “Mon 11 Dec 67”.
Historical NoteIn August 1964, President Johnson signed the Economic Opportunity Act, which created the Job Corps. The Job Corps provided work, training, and education for young people.

Custodial History NoteThe item was a gift from the general public to President Johnson during his term in office. It was received by President Johnson, until the President donated it to the Lyndon Baines Johnson Library and Museum in 1973.
